Cinnamon Chasers is the solo project of Russ Davies, nephew and son of Ray Davies and Dave Davies respectively, two founding members of the Kinks. The london-based producer creates "a perfect blend of crisp electronics, pop based song structure and melodies with an 'indie' feel". The video shown for the single "Luv Deluxe" is shown through 3 realties all driven by one single action to creating a wonderful mix of danger and intimacy. Visually it's fast paced and beautifully shot. It's Kanye West's "Flashing Lights meets Prodigy's "Smack My Bitch Up". "Luv Deluxe", won this years award at SXSW for Best Video. Press play and it will explain itself why the jury voted for it, besides being the video for a really blissfull track. The Cinnamon Chasers EP Sunset Drive was released on the 13th of April.
